My name is Paul Dodgson. When I was a teenager all I wanted to do was to go out on the road with a guitar and a headful of songs.
But that was too scary so I got a proper job instead.
Thirty years later, I headed out through the door and did it for real.
The story of all this is told in On The Road Not Taken, a memoir about the power of music. The book is published by Unbound and is out now.
The memoir has also been dramatised and broadcast as a play on BBC Radio 4.
The songs are streaming on all platforms. Listen on Spotify via this link
